There’s a lot more to talk about but that’s the basic philosophy without actually getting into exercises. nutrition, protein shake w/ creatine daily(creatine will make you jump higher by itself no lie)Įxplosive strength is like squats, foot speed is drills where you move your feet as fast as possible, plyo means stopping your motion and starting it in opposite direction. train explosive strength, foot speed, plyo specific exercises only train your vertical when your legs are completely recovered (twice a week max! My legs don’t recover this fast so I usually wait longer). This is because to increase your vertical most effectively you want to only train at max explosion. As soon as your jump height/intensity starts decreasing STOP. only train for max explosion, as in if you’re doing a jumping exercise you do it to max explosion. Jump manual does an incredible job explaining HOW you need to work out for vertical increase.
